Courses, Inset and support for equipment and software.
The Advisory Teacher will provide initial support and training on delivery of equipment for named pupils plus on-going support and monitoring. This will include provision of help sheets as appropriate, e-mail and telephone support, troubleshooting and support visits at key stages in the pupil’s schooling and development of solutions.
Additional training is also offered to ensure best use is made of assistive software.
The following courses can be offered as 2-hour Inset or Twilight sessions. These sessions will also be offered as training courses at various times throughout the year, depending on numbers. A planned schedule and details of courses offered are included with the training offer.This also includes information about charges.
Dates will be finalised and shared with SEN and CPD Coordinators at the beginning of each term.
Basic computer skills will ensure attendees get the most from the courses.
