Rein and Shine Free Riding Event

Rein & Shine is opening its doors to autistic children in support of the National Autistic Society (NAS) on 7th May 2018. This is a free access sponsored event for schools and the event is fully supported by NAS and the RDA. Rein and Shine will be offering this opportunity to 80 autistic children in the community whilst hoping to raise around £1000 for the NAS at the same time. (Please note that this event is for primary aged children only)

We are providing this free opportunity only through schools as it is educational, and at the same time, you will be able to verify the child is on the autistic spectrum.

The format will require registration of the child who must be aged 4 to 11 years old, and we will require consent of the parent or guardian for this activity. Initially we can only allow a maximum of 5 children per school. The sessions will last about 2 hours on site and consist of:
-30 minutes of riding
-Contact and care session lasting 45-60 minutes to include things like basic care, welfare, leading a horse safely.

Hoof Club CIC at Rein & Shine will be administering this event as it is not for profit Community Interest Company. We have set up a Just Giving page, and along with all proceeds from sponsorship, the profits will be donated directly to NAS.

If you are interested please contact John & Johanna McDonald, Hoof Club CIC at Rein & Shine on 01666 860068 or visit their website for more information Rein and Shine
